Brad Hompe’s Experience with the Wisconsin DOC Makes Him an Expert

These days, Brad Hompe can usually found working at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WI-DOC), where he currently serves as a Corrections Complaint Examiner and Investigator. He is seen as an expert these days, primarily because he worked his way up through the ranks, from the position of corrections officer, all the way to deputy warden and, eventually, a warden. He quite literally, stopping at every step along the way, which means Brad has a tremendous amount of experience in nearly every aspect of jail and prison operations.

Brad Hompe is now considered an expert in corrections in part because he has experienced everything there is to experience, including food service, sanitation and maintenance, as well as classification, supervision and even fire safety. In addition to leading jails and prisons in their development and implementation of effective corrections programs, Brad also has provided a wide range of services in prisons and jails throughout the Wisconsin system, but also with systems all over the country.
